Day to day


As a People Experience Manager, you will:


  • Lead and co-design our end-to-end people journey, ensuring every stage of the colleague lifecycle reflects our brand, culture and ambition to be the most loved airline.
  • Manage and inspire a small team of People Experience Consultants, guiding agile sprints and ensuring high-quality delivery of project.
  • Partner closely with our VP Partnering & Performance, driving innovation across people products, policies and processes that move the needle on our people strategy.
  • Work hand-in-hand with People Centres of Excellence and operational teams to deliver positive, seamless and compliant colleague experience.
  • Use data and insights (including exit data, happiness surveys, employee relations trends and HR shared services data) to prioritise the touchpoints that will have the greatest impact on performance, productivity and happiness.
  • Track and deliver the in-year people strategy, sharing progress, measuring outcomes and celebrating success.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of our People Journey Framework, leading quarterly prioritisation forums and champion networks to co-create meaningful experiences.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with our central Brand and Marketing teams to bring our people story to life.


About You


We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people, experience design and making a tangible difference.

In addition to the above, we’d love for our successful People Experience Manager to demonstrate:


  • Strong leadership capability, with experience driving both cross-functional teams and direct reports.
  • Expertise in journey mapping and experience design, ideally within an agile delivery environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and action.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to translate short-, medium- and long-term initiatives into solutions with clear ROI.
  • Confident communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with cultural awareness and emotional intelligence.


It would be great if you also have


  • Experience working in complex, matrix organisations
  • Strong planning and project management capability, with experience measuring and demonstrating success
  • A creative mindset and appetite for working in the “unknown” to shape and evolve new ways of working
